Today Imagination Foundation’s own Nirvan Mullick will be speaking at Big Ideas Fest in Half Moon Bay. Along with co-panelists Kimberly Bryant of the STEM initiative Black Girls Code and sustainability activist Stephen Ritz of Green Bronx Machine, he will participate in a Rapid-Fire talk on Identifying Opportunities, discussing the relationship between Caine’s Arcade and the Imagination Foundation, and how to turn a moment into a movement.
On Wednesday, Nirvans heads to the Social Innovation Summit in Silicon Valley where the country’s business, government, education and non-profit leaders will put their heads together to explore ‘What’s Next’ in the world of Social Innovation. Nirvan will join two other filmmakers on YouTube panel, “LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTIVISM: CAN VIDEO REALLY CHANGE THE WORLD?” Hosted by Hunter Walk, Head of Social Good Initiatives at Youtube, the panel will invite the filmmakers to share how each of their videos has made an impact on the world.
