Our Imagination Chapter at Head Start, Inc. tackled some amazing projects this year, all driven by our 3- and 4-year-old participants. Our kiddos built a city, a symphony of instruments, a horde of robots, and a zoo – with its own train and concession stands! Chapter meetings were held on Fridays for two hours. We loved inviting our Head Start friends and families in to see our fun creations….and even got to be in the local newspaper!

Jennifer Owen is the executive director of Head Start, Inc. in Billings, Montana. An attorney and political junkie, Jennifer is passionate about creativity, innovation, entrepreneurialism, and challenging conventional wisdom. Prior to Head Start, Jennifer lived and worked in Nicaragua for nine months, helping to open a clinic for women and children living in extreme poverty – and met the man who is now her husband. The two make their home in Billings with their 10-month old son.
