This fall, along with our 3rd Annual Global Cardboard Challenge (104,000+ registered participants in 38 countries–and counting!), we officially launched our Imagination Chapters Pilot Program at thirty sites across the globe, including chapters in Vancouver, Bogota, Cape Town, Manchester, Melbourne, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Imagination Chapters are community-organized learning spaces that foster creativity, entrepreneurship, and critical 21st century skills in children through Creative Play. Conducted in conjunction with Indiana University’s Creativity Labs and with the generous support of our partners Makedo, littleBits and SparkFun, the 9-month pilot will establish a chapter model to bring Creative Play to schools and communities around the world. We’d like to take a moment to recognize the exceptional teachers, librarians, and business and community leaders who are bringing this program to life.
